5/7: Went to old turf city to look at 2nd hand cars. Yea look only la no money to buy :) Good cars can always wait lol, I will be patient. After that went to the sin seh to 'push' my toe. Freaking hurt like hell but worth it cos the toe's 90% recovered now.6/7: Uni mates came over to dad's stall to show support, and we ordered many other hawker fare from other stalls as well. Lunch's a feast, all hail hawker food! Went KC's house to chill and later to Sarah's place for some guitar hero action. Fun! It was raining like mad as we made a mad dash for Jamie's jag.7/7: Attended Xinyan's (thanks for the wonderful meal at Vivocity with your family!) convocation. I think she's offically the first friend of mine that I've attended a convocation. Even though most of the people there were strangers to me, but I can't help but feel happy for all the graduates. There just seemed to be a very positive and joyous atmosphere. Feeling down recently? Attend a friend's convocation and bring a smile to that face of yours. Rushed down to city hall to meet Yusheng and Ivan for tailor fitting, and had supper, yup supper again with Terrence at geylang. 永和豆浆and 牛肉河粉. Shiok to the max. Stomach stretched to the max too~8/7: Met up with the uni mates for supper at ponggol nasi lemak. Standard was a little below average that day, nonetheless still quite tasty haha. Felt extremely guilty after eating the $4+ plate of carbo junk. Proceeded to Ivan's crib to chill after that, I envy his big room!9/7: TPJC day. Met up with jc classmates Dennis, Joycelyn and Wenyang for dinner at Taka's Crystal Jade. My order sorta got mixed up and end up eating the sichuan soup lamian. Abit not that tasty haha not gonna touch that anytime soon. Great catching up with them, been a while since I saw them. A number of them are overseas at the moment, hopefully there will be a gathering at Jerome's place after I go back. Just like the good old days. I miss...
10/7: Marist day. Had dinner with Shiwei, Dave and Mark at Serangoon Gardens. Been going there quite a couple of times this holiday I wonder why. Initially decided on Sushi Tei but it was way too crowded, thus decided to head to Pow Sing restaurant. Freaking alot of dishes, and therefore was freaking full. I think I'm really testing my stomach's flexibility. Went to Frolicks and woah, the girls they employ really quite pretty leh. Tsk tsk tsk. (Gonna head back soon HAHA!) Had to wait for 5 minutes for the youghurt to harden or something (whatever it means) so we decided to head off, reluctantly for me haha! Had mahjong at Shiwei's house, and lost money as usual zzz. Still love mahjong anyway.
11/7: Attended Marcus' convocation at the same place, NUS Cultural Centre. Experienced the same happy feeling, further intensified this time round, really glad for this buddy of mine. I'm sure he will do well in his property business now. Heaps of people and the slight rain made it a little hard to take nice photos. Finally got the chance to meet Wenyang's girlfriend as well. Good to see that they are very blissful together haha. Marcus' family treated us to buffet dinner at Corpthorne Kings Hotel. I think it was a peranakan buffet, food's pretty delicious, quite a range of variety and most important the Kuehs are freaking freaking nice. I forgot when was the last time I've ate such delicious Nonya Kuehs already. Will definitely head back that for the same buffet! Saw fellow jc classmate Mingsiang graduating too. Congrats!Rushed to the Marist '01 reunion organised by Yongrui at Hotel Rendevous. It was another buffet spread but the food can't be compared to the one earlier on, and I'm pretty damn full at that time so didn't really eat much. Spent most of my time catching up with my long lost friends. We were mainly talking about the pranks and hilarious events that took place in secondary school. It was the definitely the most enjoyable period of my life so far. If only man can go back in time...Can only wish for such a reunion to be organised on a frequent basis haha. Yongrui I hope you read my blog LMAO!
Going for a jog now. Here's to a more healthy life!
